These precast concrete stud caps are used at the ends of the reinforcing mesh to ensure that the ends of the reinforcing mesh are not exposed on the surface of the precast concrete element after the precast concrete element has been cast. They have a very small footprint and will not show on the outside surface of the precast concrete element after it has been cast.
